For more than 35 years, CARTI has been bringing the fight to cancer with leading edge technology and the most compassionate hearts you will ever find. CARTI offers cancer patients medical and surgical oncology, diagnostic radiology and radiation oncology.

With one of the leading radiation therapy programs in the country, CARTI treats all types of cancer with radiation. Over the past 20 years, CARTI has treated almost 14,000 patients for lung cancer; 9500 for breast cancer; and 10,000 for prostate cancer. These are the top three cancers treated by radiation therapy.

• CARTI is the only ACR accredited radiation program in Arkansas.

• CARTI has offered IMRT for prostate cancer patients since 2001.

• All CARTI Radiation Oncologist are certified by the American Board of Radiology.

• CARTI has the largest Prostate Seed Implant program in Arkansas with published results as far back as 1992.

• CARTI is home to the state’s largest stereotactic radiosurgery program, having treated more than 200 patients since its beginning in 2005.

• CARTI is the state's only provider of stereotactic body radiotherapy, which is considered to be a good alternative to standard radiation for lung cancer patients who are not medically fit to receive surgery.

• In a 2010 national survey of 240 outpatient oncology centers throughout the United States, CARTI ranked in the top three percent in patient satisfaction.

• CARTI has one of the premier radiation therapy and dosimetry training programs, in the region as well as a, medical physics radiation oncology residency program, training students each year for professions in radiation therapy.
